Can we include brand guidelines? → To keep Classic Test Campaigns unbiased, we do not include any brand elements from the client company. We’re mainly testing positioning.

Why use digital ads? → Aside from being a potential acquisition channel for any business, the main reason we use ads for testing purposes is the high speed-to-insight.

How does the ad auction work? → We select keywords to bid on, expecting your target audience to enter these terms in Google Search. There is an auction governing which advertiser is awarded the click: highest bid wins. We cap the bid so budget is throttled.

Can you do validation tests for free? → Absolutely! You could set up a social media account and do the same kind of test. But it will take a lot longer to build an audience and gauge their interest for different offerings. We use digital ads to accelerate these learnings. 

Do you interview or speak directly with customers? → The fullest expression of validation involves interviewing your prospective customers with short, open-ended questions to uncover the core of their need/opportunity. We offer this service through our Pro campaign.
